Well, I am currently 5 blog posts short for the class... And I have one week left... Let's see if we can get a couple more done. Movies and Books are a type of Artwork in my opinion. I just wanted to take a minute and tell you how much Harry Potter is a good series. We just got back from watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)... WOW... And to top it off, they cut the movie at the perfect place... The even better part about this, is we only have to wait about 6 months until part 2 comes out... Can't wait...

ReplyDeleteHave you read the books? They are written so well. But, I have heard that you either love Harry Potter to start with, or you learn to tolerate it. Those that "hate" it are usually either those who think it is sacrilege, or know little to nothing about it...
ReplyDeleteI think the best part of the movies is that J. K. Rowling is/was very involved in the making of them. I think the biggest disappointment in them is that the guy who was originally hired to play Dumbledore died in real life. He fit the role perfectly. The new guy they hired just did not do the part justice. He seemed more like the absent minded professor, then the brilliant eccentric that the character is supposed to be. I think the creators found themselves in such a bind, that they just hired the first person that sort of resembled what the character was supposed to look like. I would have preferred they found a great actor, and used "Hollywood" magic to make him look the part.
